Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (flats and drumettes separated)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: hot sauce, honey, BBQ sauce for coating

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels
  2. Toss wings with olive oil in a bowl
  3. Mix garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper
  4. Coat wings with seasoning mixture
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes
  6. Place wings in air fryer basket in single layer
  7. Cook for 15 minutes
  8. Shake basket and cook for 10 more minutes until crispy
  9. Wings should be golden brown and crispy
  10. Toss in sauce if desired (after cooking)
  11. Serve immediately with dipping sauce

Tips for Success

  • Pat wings very dry - this is key for crispiness
  • Don't overcrowd the basket - air needs to circulate
  • Use minimal oil - too much makes them soggy
  • Shake basket halfway through for even cooking
