- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional: garlic powder, paprika
Instructions
- Wash sweet potatoes and pat dry
- Cut into 1/4-inch batons (stick-shaped pieces)

- Drain and pat completely dry with paper towels
- Toss with avocado oil in a bowl
- Mix cinnamon, cayenne, salt in small bowl
- Coat sweet potatoes with spice mixture
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes
- Place fries in basket in single layer
- Cook for 12 minutes
- Shake basket and cook for 3-5 more minutes
- Fries should be golden brown and crispy
- Remove to paper towels
Tips for Success
- Sweet potatoes have more sugar than white potatoes
- Watch carefully - sugars can burn
- Soaking removes some starch
- Pat very dry - moisture prevents crispness
- Cinnamon complements sweet potato flavor naturally
- Can dip in yogurt or cajun mayo
